Drug Uses
Amoxyl is used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose throat, skin and soft tissues, the lower respiratory tract and genitourinary tract. It is used, often with other drugs, to treat uncomplicated gonorrhea. It is also prescribed preventively before oral surgery for patients at risk for endocarditis.
