Drug Uses
Serevent is used to dialate air passages in the lungs that are narrowed because of inflammation or disease such as asthma and (COPD) chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
How Taken
Serevent may be inhaled using either an aerosl inhaler or nebulizer. 1 to 2 puffs every 4 – 6 hours or 2.5mg using a nebulizer three to four times a day. Tablets should be taken three to four times a day at 2.4mg.
Warnings/Precautions
Dizziness may occur and interfere with your ability to drive safely. Do not drive until you determine how this medication will affect you.
Missed Dose
Skip the missed does and resume your normal schedule.
Possible Side Effects
If inhaled too often, Serevent may become ineffective resulting in more sever breathing difficulty that does not improve. Signs include wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath, confusion or inability to speak. Dry mouth can also occur as well as irritation of the nose, mouth and throat.
Storage
Store in canister and keep away from heat and direct light as well as open flame.
Overdose
If you suspect on overdose, contact your doctor immediately. Symptoms may appear as confusion, delirium, severe anxiety, muscle tremors, weakness and rapid or irregular heart beat.

Tell you doctor if you have ever had any unusual reaction to Serevent, or are pregnant, nursing or may become pregnant.
