Drug Uses
Precose is used in treatment of type 2 diabetes.
How Taken
Precose should be taken as directed with food at the beginning of meal.
Warnings/Precautions
Notify your physician if you are taking anticoagulants, Insulin, Digoxin, contraceptives, calcium channel blockers or if you have allergies, stomach and intestinal problems before taking Precose. Also, list any prescription or non prescription medications you are taking.
Missed Dose
If a dose of Precose is missed then skip the missed dose and continue on with your next scheduled dosage.
Possible Side Effects
Diarrhea, bloating, nausea, gas, vomiting and painful stomach are all possible side effects of Precose medication.
Storage
Precose should be kept below 77 degrees F in a tightly sealed container far from light, heat or moisture.
Overdose
If an overdose of Precose is suspected call for emergency medical treatment immediately or your local poison control center for help.

Discuss with your physician if you are pregnant or become pregnant before taking Precose. Keep all scheduled appointments and laboratory tests while on this medication. If you have any other health problems make your physician aware before going on Precose medication.
