Pletal is used in the treatment of intermittent claudicating.
How Taken
Take Pletal as prescribed by your physician with a glass full of water. The usual dosage is twice daily, thirty minutes before or two hours after the breakfast or dinner meal.
Warnings/Precautions
If you have congestive heart failure you should not take Pletal. It may take four-six weeks after starting Pletal to see signs of improvement. Grapefruit juice and grapefruit should be avoided while on this medications as it could cause dangerous side effects.
Missed Dose
Take missed dosage of Pletal when it is remembered. If missed dose is too close to your next scheduled dosage then skip missed dosage.
Possible Side Effects
Faster heartbeat, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, painful joints, nose congestion and cramping of the legs are all possible side effects of Pletal.
Storage
Pletal needs to be stored room temperature far from heat or moisture.
Overdose
If an overdose is suspected on Pletal immediate emergency medical attention should be sought.

Tell your physician if you have liver or heart disease or are taking any prescription or non prescription medications before taking Pletal.
